 SANDS Lothians is a long established charity that plays a leading role in providing bereavement support in the Lothians. We work in partnership with health professionals to improve the quality of care following a baby’s death.
Our aims and our vision:The Voice of the Parents - SANDS Lothians is working to support bereaved parents and to press for improvements in care during pregnancy and when a baby has died.
98% of 134 families agreed that they would recommend SANDS Lothians to bereaved parents.
We survive mainly due to fundraising and donations.
