Ruth Wilson
Bereavement Counsellor:
I have been part of the support team at SANDS Lothians working as a counsellor. Having trained as a social worker, my first job was with an adoption society working with both birth and adoptive parents.
After retiring in 1997, I pursued a long term ambition to return to university and study to become a counsellor. I find it extremely satisfying working closely with people in a helping role.
